Vandalism on the Dragon Trail

Sadly Violet the dragon (seen above in better days) has been smashed up by vandals. Luckily some kind members of the public brought her remains to our meeting room, by the bowling green near Offshoots.

If you see anyone trying to destroy the dragon trail, or anything else around the park, please call the park rangers, (01282 831053) and if you find a dragon on the floor please take it to our meeting room and, hopefully, we’ll be able to repair it.

Updates:

23/7 – Sadly it looks like someone is trying to destroy our dragon trail as 2 more dragons have been knocked off and probably smashed.

Over 700 families have enjoyed this free trail so far this year and we were hoping a lot more would be able to enjoy it over the summer holiday. Please keep an eye for us for people up to no good and for the remains of the 2 dragons, we have some red legs so far.

We have a little Searching for dragons fundraising trail running with sheets available at the Hall shop for £1 any any donations towards maintains and adding to the trail are always welcome. There is a donation bucket in the Hall shop and you can donate on line via our website. If dragons keep disappearing we will need all the help we can get! We will replace the missing dragons as soon as possible, but maybe with the silhouettes for now.

26/7 – Some good news, Grassy’s body has been found and can possibly be repaired. Bad news a 4th dragon has disappeared

28/7 – Red has reappeared, if he’s still there and you see him please take him to the Hall or leave him by our meeting room in the bowling green past Offshoots so that we can put him back up his tree.

Thank you.
