Friends of Thompson and Queens Park

The Friends of Thompson and Queenโ€™s Park are a group of enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers. (set up in 19**?) (will ask Michelle or check the constitution) Our principal aim is to preserve and enhance this wonderful park for future generations through volunteer activity and fund raising.

Get involved

There are many ways in which you can get involved and opportunities are open to people of all walks of life and ability. You can register your interest in volunteering here.

We have regular volunteer sessions in the park every Tuesday morning at 10am which cover a wide range of task such as horticultre, painting, path maintenance and litter picking. Meet at the Volunteer Hub, located near the bottom end of the lake. You are welcome to just turn up for a taster session. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing.

If you want to get involved with planning or have ideas you wish to propose, please contact Michelle Wolfenden by email michellewolfenden397@gmail.com or phone 07759739360.
